Toddler Play and Parent Education
For parents/caregivers and children ages 24-36 months old*
Toddlers are eager to explore the world and others around them! In this class children will learn that they can wait, listen to others, be listened to, problem-solve, and be part of a group. These are the foundations for parent-child partnership and later school success. Parents will have the opportunity to observe and learn from child play among their tot’s young peers. You’ll learn “parent tools” for supporting feelings, attachment, autonomy, mastery and problem-solving. This class includes outside play time with lots of sensory activities, child-directed play, singing, stories, a simple snack of “o” cereal and water for tots.
